Father God, I know that I’ve sinned and I’m supposed to get the death penalty as punishment for my sins (Romans 6:23).  Thank You for loving me so much that You already sent Jesus to the cross to die in my place. 

Thank You Jesus for shedding Your innocent blood so I can be forgiven for my sins, and also have eternal life and a relationship with Daddy God (Ephesians 1:7).  Jesus, I know You died, but You rose from the dead and now You are alive in Heaven (Luke 24:6).  Because You are alive, You can send Your Holy Spirit to live in me (1Corinthians 15:22-23).  I hear You knocking on the door of my heart (Revelation 3:20), so please come in and be my Lord and Savior!

Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NKJV)

Ephesians 1:7 – He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. (NLT)

Luke 24:6 – He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee…(NKJV)

1Corinthians 15:22-23 – ²² Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. ²³ But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back. Revelation 3:20 – “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. (NLT)
